Hendricks County Senior Services can provide a caring person in the home while the caregiver is away. Assistants provide companionship, supervision for safety, support bathing, dressing, and grooming; mobility assistance and escort to medical appointments; medication reminders, food preparation, light housekeping tasks and aundry services.
Caring attendants provide assistance and supportive services that include companionship and planning of daily activities of living; supervision for safety and transportation to medical appointments and shopping; assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing; medications reminders, nutrition assistance with meal planning and food preparation; light housekeeping task and laundry care.
Homemaker Attendants provide basic, light housekeeping; laundry and change of bedding; assists with meal planning, food preparation and grocery shopping.
Respite and Homemaker services are provided on a donation basis for those who qualify for assistance, and on a nominal fee basis for others.
We are happy to provide telephone calls to homebound seniors living alone.
Assistance to the Homebound
Friendly visitors are matched with isolated or homebound elderly in their homes, offering companionship. They may also assist with shopping, errands, household management or other mutually agreed on activities.

Relay Indiana, a service of InTRAC7, provides full telecommunications accessibility to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired. This service allows users with special telecommunication devices to communicate with standard users through specially trained Relay Operators. InTRAC also provides free, loaned equipment to those who qualify.
