     In-Home Services    

Respite/Companion

Hendricks County Senior Services can provide a caring person in the home while the caregiver is away. Assistants provide companionship, supervision, help with daily living tasks such as food preparation, grocery shopping errands and more.

Homemaker Services

We provide basic, light housekeeping and help with tasks such as laundry, trash removal, etc.

Respite and Homemaker services are provided on a donation basis for those who qualify for assistance, and on a nominal fee basis for others.

Telephone Reassurance

We are happy to provide telephone calls to homebound seniors living alone.

Assistance to the Homebound

Friendly visitors are matched with isolated or homebound elderly in their homes, offering companionship. They may also assist with shopping, errands, household management or other mutually agreed on activities.

 

Donations for telephone reassurance and assistance to the homebound are encouraged.
