Caregiver Resources

Hendricks County Senior Services offers a library of tapes, books and other materials that are helpful to caregivers.

Support Groups

Several support groups are held at the Hendricks County Senior Center on a regular basis. Our support groups are deigned for individuals, their family members, and friend's, suffering or recovering from a specific condition. By meeting regularly, members of the group held one another face and overcome common challenges by sharing experiences and encouraging one another.

Alzheimer's Support meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.

Parkinson's Support meets the 2nd Tuesday of the mont at 10:30 a.m.

Vision Support meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m.

Stroke Support meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m.

Durable Equipment

Hendricks County Senior Services has a limited supply of durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and personal assistance items, that we lend to people who need then, on a donation basis

Donations for the above services are encouraged.
